摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a large amount of purge immediately after restarting an engine when a concentration difference of fuel in air-fuel mixture from a canister is small, and when the fuel concentration difference is large, to perform a large amount of purge after temporarily restricting an amount of purge after restarting the engine and calculating a new amount of fuel compensation corresponding to the purge concentration. SOLUTION: In an evaporated fuel treatment device, evaporated fuel from a fuel tank 5 is introduced to the canister 7 so as to be temporarily adsorbed by the canister 7, and the evaporated fuel adsorbed by the canister is sucked into an air intake passage 2 of the internal combustion engine 1 together with fresh charge. A purge concentration difference DPD during stop of the engine is calculated based on an amount of evaporated fuel adsorption CG0 during stop of the engine and an amount of evaporated fuel adsorption CG1 at the time of restart of the engine. It is enough to perform an operation to restrict the amount of purge after restarting the engine only when the DPD is large, whereby the opportunity to perform a large amount of purge is increased so that the efficiency of treating the evaporated fuel is improved.
