<p>[PROBLEMS] A lamp socket that is, although it has contact pieces and dedicated urging members, smaller in size than those of a conventional structure. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The lamp socket has a socket body (1) made of ceramic, insertion holes (13) into which fitting pins (11a) of a lamp (10A) are inserted, and a component placement section (15). Urging means (5) and a pair of contact pieces (4) that is in electrical contact with the fitting pins (11a) are placed at the placement section (15). The socket body (1) has a step (17) formed on the lower surface side of the socket body (1) and also has engagement holes (18) formed in the lower periphery of the socket body (1). The socket body (1) further has a ceramic bottom plate (2) capable of supporting the contact pieces (4) from below while being fitted in the step (17) and has a come-out prevention member (3) installed such that it is engaged at both ends (5a) with corresponding engagement holes (18) and preventing the bottom plate (2) from coming out.</p> |
