<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED drive unit capable of compensating fluctuation in the luminance of an LED due to a temperature change without requiring any photosensors and CPUs. <P>SOLUTION: The LED drive having a temperature compensation function comprises a reference voltage generator 100 for generating a first reference voltage Vref1, a non-inverted amplifier 200 for amplifying the difference between the first reference voltage Vref1 and a forward voltage Vf with a preset gain Av without any inversion, a drive unit 300 for adjusting a drive current according to the output voltage of the non-inverted amplifier 200 for supplying to an LED 400, and a forward voltage detector 500 for detecting the forward voltage Vf in the LED 400 for supplying to the non-inverted amplifier 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
