Provided is a lithium secondary battery which is reduced in the infiltration time of an electrolyte solution by increasing the infiltration of an electrolyte solution and is improved in productivity. A lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly; a sealing tape which is adhered at the outer circumference of the electrode assembly to support and protect the electrode assembly; a case which accommodates the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly which seals the upper aperture of the case, wherein the surface of the sealing tape is rough so as to allow sealing tape to have wettability and spreadability to an electrolyte solution.
