An extension telephone service method using mobile phones and a data communication network is provided to realize a call service method not having spatial restriction by using a mobile phone as an extension phone. A mobile phone makes a call request to a call service server through a wireless AP(Access Point), the call service server judges whether the call request is an extension call request(S100). If so, the call service server searches an extension information DB(S110). Based on the data obtained from the extension information DB, the call service server checks whether an extension phone which will receive a call is connected to the wireless AP(S120). If so, the call service server connects the extension phone to the mobile phone(S130). In case the call request is not the extension call request, however, the call service server analyzes a phone type(S102). The call service server connects the outgoing call through a data communication network, a PSTN or a mobile communication network(S104).
