A method and a system for providing an aroma call service by using a mobile communication network are provided to enable a user to recognize the other party through an aroma by appointing a specific aroma for a specific person so that a specific aroma can be emitted when a call is received from the specific person. Receiving an aroma call service request signal from a mobile terminal, an aroma provider server obtains the MIN(Mobile Identification Number) or terminal information of the mobile terminal(S410). Based on the obtained data, the aroma provider server judges whether the mobile terminal is affiliated with an aroma call service(S420). If the mobile terminal is affiliated with the aroma call service, the aroma provider server executes an appointed authentication procedure and extracts preset aroma setup information from an aroma setup DB(S430). The aroma provider server judges whether to transmit an aroma code, based on to the extracted aroma setup information(S440). If an aroma code should be transmitted, the aroma provider server extracts an aroma code, based on a preset aroma, from an aroma code DB(S450). Then, if a voice call is selected, the aroma provider server transmits the extracted aroma code to the mobile terminal(S460).
