DRIVING APPARATUS AND DISPLAY APPARATUS OF THE SAME

A driving apparatus and a display device having the same are provided to enhance compatibility with external systems by controlling the display apparatus using an internal driver instead of an external driver. A driving device includes a memory and a timing controller. The memory supplies a first control signal(VCNT1) for controlling a display panel based on a driving enable signal. The timing controller selects one of the first control signal and a second control signal(VCNT2), and controls the display panel. The driving device further includes a signal selection unit(320) having includes a comparator and a controller. The comparator outputs the first or second control signal based on a comparison between the first and second control signals. The controller receives one of the first and second control signals from the comparator, and controls the display panel.
