A water softener is provided to control and discharge cold/warm soft water or cold/warm direct water of a desired temperature promptly and accurately, by improving the structure of the water softener. A tank unit(700) has first and second water softener tanks(710,720) respectively filled with ion exchange resin, and a reproduction tank(730) filled with a reproduction material. The reproduction tank is connected to the water softener tanks. A first valve assembly(500) is connected to the reproduction tank and the water softener tanks, and connected to first and second raw water supply tubes(L3,L4) through which cold raw water and warm raw water pass respectively. A discharge tube(L12) is connected to the softener tanks and the first valve assembly to discharge cold/warm soft water, or cold/warm direct water. A converting valve unit(450) has a second valve assembly(600) connected to a reproduced waste water tube(L13) through which a reproduced waste water is discharged. |
