<p>A two-cycle swash plate internal combustion engine includes plural cylindersarranged about and having axes parallel to an output shaft. The output shaft includesa central axis having a fixed angular relationship to the central axes of the cylinders.A swash plate includes a first surface having a normal axis disposed at a firstfixed angle to the central axis of the output shaft. The swash plate is fixed tothe output shaft. Reciprocating pistons disposed in the respective cylindersinclude connecting rods having followers secured to one end, respectively.The followers include surfaces engaged with a cooperating bearing surface onthe swash plate.</p> |
