A mobile terminal and its power correcting method are provided to reduce an impedance effect by performing impedance matching by connecting an end resistor to an RF switch provided between an antenna and a system of a mobile terminal, and remove influence to the mobile terminal system by changing power characteristics by virtue of the impedance effect. A detecting unit(120) detects power of a signal outputted from an impedance-matched antenna. An amplifier(110) amplifies a signal outputted from the antenna according to a variable gain value and outputs it. A correction value calculating unit(136) calculates a correction value by subtracting a reference value from a reception power value which has been amplified by the amplifier according to the reception power value which has been detected by the detecting unit. A gain controller(134) corrects a gain of the amplifier according to the correction value. A storage unit(150) stores the calculated correction value.
