#CMT# #/CMT# The device (10) has a hub (101) fixed to a driving shaft (20), and a set of friction disks (103, 105-107) separated by a helicoidal spring (109). The disks equalize the speed of the driving shaft and a driven shaft (30) or pinion, and are actuated by a shift fork. The friction disk (103) is centered on the hub and driven by the hub through notches (101a, 103a) with inclined sides to transform transmitted torque into axial push which is reflected on the disks. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for coupling a driving shaft to a driven shaft or pinion in a gear box. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The friction disks are separated by the helicoidal spring, thus improving the performance of the coupling device and reducing energy dissipation by friction between the disks. The coupling device has reduced axial encumbrance and does not require hydraulic system, thus reducing fabrication cost of a transmission unit utilized by the device and simplifying the structure of the transmission unit. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows an axial sectional view of a driving shaft and driven shaft coupling device. 10 : Coupling device 20 : Driving shaft 30 : Driven shaft 101 : Hub 101a, 103a : Notches 103, 105-107 : Friction disks 109 : Helicodial spring.
|
