A crack monitoring device for a sewer pipe is provided to minimize the contamination of soil caused by outflow of sewage by sorting a cracked sewer pipe only from many sewer pipes and replacing the pipe instantly and to replace a sewer pipe quickly by checking the condition of sewer pipes easily from the surface of the earth. The crack monitoring device(1) for a sewer pipe comprises many connection balls(10) installed on the top of a sewer pipe(20) in the longitudinal direction and charged with electricity through each built-in connecting wire(11), a protection case(15) protecting the connection balls against an external impact and filled with filler(14) to keep two contact points of the connection balls charged with electricity, an indicator light(17) installed on the surface of the earth and connected with the connection balls in the protection case to turn on and off when the connection balls have a short circuit, and a fixing member composed of fastening bars(18,19) to fix the protection case to the top of the sewer pipe. |
