The server accesses information e.g. product identification code and telephone number, stored in a non volatile memory (240) e.g. cache memory, of a near field communication (NFC) target device (200) e.g. radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, and read by an NFC initiator device (140) e.g. RFID tag reader.
