PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate with which a liquid crystal display panel excellent in display quality can be formed, to provide the liquid crystal display panel excellent in display quality, and to provide a manufacturing method of the color filter substrate.

SOLUTION: The color filter substrate is provided with: a substrate; a color filter 4 which is formed on the substrate while being superimposed on a display area R and has a plurality of colored layers; and a dummy pattern 41 which has a first dummy colored layer 42 formed on the substrate so as to surround the display area leaving an aperture in the display area and a second dummy colored layer 43 formed on the aperture between the display area and the first dummy colored layer.
