<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface which can improve usability of a setting screen for setting each function mounted in an apparatus when using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the user interface having a setting screen which allows a user to set each function mounted on the predetermined apparatus when using the same, a first character string and a second character string having larger number of characters than the first character string are stored as character strings showing each function used on the setting screen, and the stored first or second character string is selected as a character string showing each function used on the setting screen based on user's use history of each function or according to a user operation state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
