The deflection roller (1) includes a splash guard disc (8d) which is embodied as a multi-functional part and which is pressed in a frictionally engaging fashion into an inner ring (3) of the roller bearing (3) and extends radially virtually over the entire end face of the roller bearing (2) and at the same time centres a screwed connection (4) and forms a transport securing means.
