The collector has a semitransparent photovoltaic module arranged in a common housing, where the photovoltaic module is formed by an upper part of the collector. A solar thermal module is arranged in the common housing, where the solar thermal module is formed by a lower part of the collector. An insulation space (4) is arranged between the photovoltaic module and the solar thermal module. The photovoltaic module is formed from a transparent carrier (1), where a photovoltaic unit is arranged at an inner side of the photovoltaic module.
