The dental wedge (31) has a head (60), and a smaller neck (50) each having flat gripping surfaces. The head may also have an elastomeric compressible cap (71). The dental instrument has flat grasping surfaces (340a, 340b) configured to mate with the flat gripping surfaces of the head or neck of the dental wedge. |
