<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To proceed extrusion or spraying without the necessity of a tool change by improving accessibility during the extrusion or spraying, to reduce the adjustment times which are necessary for an adjustment from a first spraying direction to a second spraying direction, and to achieve a changeover between different process steps, for example between spraying and extrusion, without an intervening tool change. <P>SOLUTION: A device for the application of a fluid onto a surface is intended to be mounted as the tool on a holder which is adjustable between different places and different directions.
