PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which is excellent in fitness to an excretion part of a wearer and hardly causes side leakage. SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 comprises a surface sheet 2, a leakage preventing sheet 3, and an absorbent 4 interposed between them. On both left and right side parts of the absorbent 4, leakage preventing walls 5 are respectively provided. The leakage preventing wall 5 is provided with a skin abutting surface part 5b extended in the longitudinal direction of the absorptive article 1 to be planarly abutted to the skin of the wearer. The skin abutting surface part 5b is constituted of an expandable and contractible sheet 10 having recessed and projected shapes. For the expandable and contractible sheet 10, the front end part and rear end part in the longitudinal direction are fixed to the surface sheet 2 in an expanded state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
