PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer capable of easily preventing lowering of drying efficiency of garbage due to collected dust. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer 1 has a discharge port 74 for discharging air in a treatment vessel 42, provided at the upper part of the treatment vessel 42 for crushing and drying charged garbage. The discharge port 74 is provided with a filter unit, a filter dust removal unit, and a ventilation fan 97. The filter dust removal unit has a comb-like plate with an L-shaped cross section turnably mounted by a shaft and a cam driven by a motor and pressing the plate, and is mounted above the filter. The plate is urged by a spring in the contact direction of a filter contact part with the filter. By rotating the cam with the motor, the plate reciprocatingly turns by the shaft, impact is applied to the filter, and the dust attached to the filter can be removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
