PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for wall surface construction which is water-based and may be used with application on one side when used in bonding a building material on a wall surface, does not practically require open time, allows relocation after bonding and is easy to wipe off, and a method of fabrication of a wall surface. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for wall surface construction contains an emulsion of an acrylic resin with a glass transition temperature of≤-20°C. The adhesive composition for wall surface construction may also contain 1-50 pts.wt. of the solid of an emulsion of a urethane-based resin to 100 pts.wt. of the solid of the acrylic resin emulsion.
