PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To file not only FAX data but also input data according to set conditions of a user being a reception side. SOLUTION: After all pages of received data are printed out, operation is advanced from a step S4 to a step S5 to confirm whether the received pages are all acquired normally and when they are acquired normally (when Yes in the step S5), previously set filing conditions are confirmed (steps S6 and S7). Consequently, when the received data meet the set filing conditions (when Yes in the step S7), the data of all the received pages are re-stored in a predetermined area on a hard disk 13 and filed (step S8). When the received data do not meet the set filing conditions (when No in the step S7) on the other hand, the received data which are temporarily stored on the hard disk 13 are erased (step S9).
