<p>A device which can perform an intended control by a simple operation to a touch sensor. A device having a touch sensor at a sensor section (51) as an operating means is provided with a processing section (55) for controlling the operation of the device depending on the operation of the touch sensor. When such an operation that movement of a finger is stopped while the finger keeps touching the touch sensor is performed at the ending position of tracing the sensor, the processing section (55) controls the operation such that update of an object displayed at a display section (53) is continued until tracing of the sensor is ended and is stopped at a moment in time when tracing is ended. When such an operation that the finger is separated from the touch sensor while the finger keeps moving is performed at the ending position of tracing the sensor, the processing section (55) controls the operation such that update of an object displayed at the display section (53) is continued until tracing of the sensor is ended and the update continues automatically at a point in time when tracing is ended. When the finger is separated after tracing the touch sensor, update of the displayed object is continued automatically as if inertia is acting.</p> |
