<p>The invention relates to a drive train for a motor vehicle, which is provided with a main engine, an auxiliary engine and a parallel shaft transmission. The aforementioned transmission includes: at least one input shaft (4) which is connected to the main engine by means of a clutch device (3), at least one output shaft (7) which is provided with a drive pinion (8) that engages with a differential ring gear (9), a countershaft (12) which is not coaxial with the input (4) and output (7) shafts, and a plurality of synchronisers which are designed to connect an input shaft (4) to an output shaft (7) selectively in rotation. The countershaft (12) is fitted with a drive wheel (56) which is connected to the auxiliary engine and which is permanently rotatbly linked to the input shaft(s) (4, 22).</p> |
