<p>The device has a protective pipe, which runs through a building wall is fastened in or on the building wall. The protective pipe has a sealing unit, through which a cable or a conduit pipe is guided. The sealing unit is arranged in an inner pipe (1), which is retracted in the protective pipe and is sealed against it. The inner pipe is detachably engaged in the protective pipe. The inner pipe has a radial outward protruding flange section (10) on its rear end, which lies at a distance opposite to a position of a front wall section of the protective pipe.</p>
