PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update invalidation control information corresponding to a CRL without sacrificing user's convenience while keeping the invalidation control information the latest even for equipment which is not connected to a network. SOLUTION: A travel distance and a travel time counted from a point of time when the invalidation control information is updated through a CD etc., are handled as validity conditions in order to periodically update the invalidation control information and when the validity conditions are not met, use of contents is rejected. For that purpose, an on-vehicle device is equipped with a invalidation control information recording section which records the invalidation control information, a drive history recording section which records a drive history of the vehicle, and a validity judgment section which judges the validity of the invalidation control information.
