PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device, having superior practicality which can easily and accurately set the distance of separation between the sensor of a sensor element and a measuring object. SOLUTION: The sensor device X is provided with a sensor element 10, having a sensor 12 bearing a function for transducing a physical quantity regarding the measurement object 90 into an electrical signal on one major surface; and a support 20 where an abutting surface 20a abutting against the major surface of the sensor element 10, and a support surface 20b for supporting the measurement object 90, are disposed parallel. Because the sensor element 10, the abutting surface 20a, and the support surface 20b are held to be parallel; the distance of separation between the sensor 12 of the sensor element 10 and the measuring object 90 can be set easily and accurately, thereby providing the sensor device X having superior handleability.
