PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member for a simple hothouse, which is readily installed. SOLUTION: The reinforcing member 1 is installed in a frame of a simple hothouse having clamping parts 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b at both ends of rod bodies 10, 20 and horizontally provided with a lot of supports held by the clamping parts 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b. Each of the rod bodies 10, 20 has a length enough to bridge at least one piece of supports, and the clamping center of the clamping parts 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b are offset to the axis lines of the rod bodies 10, 20 so that the clamping parts 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b are installed at a position not interfering with the supports bridged via the rod bodies 10, 20. The two rod bodies 10, 20 are engaged in a crossing state, and the offset amount of the clamping parts 15a, 15b, 25a, 25b of the respective rod bodies 10, 20 is set so that the clamping centers of the two clamp parts 15a, 25a at one end side of each of the two rod bodies 10, 20 are coaxially placed and the clamping centers of the two clamping parts 15b, 25b at the other end side of each of the two rod bodies 10, 20 are coaxially placed.
