<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimum cooling medium condition while securing a necessary cooling performance in a cell stack constituted by arraying a plurality of cells with cooling medium flow paths each provided between adjacent cells. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling medium condition setup method comprises a step of acquiring a thermal conductance of cells by using the kind of the cells as a retrieval key from a memory means to memorize the thermal conductance in the cooling medium flow paths depending on the kind of the cells (S10), acquiring a relationship between a cooling medium flow rate in the cooling medium flow paths and a temperature gradient in the cooling medium flow paths (S12), acquiring a minimum cooling medium flow rate by giving the condition of the temperature gradient (S14), considering a condition to keep the flow in the cooling medium flow paths a laminar flow (S16), and acquiring a sectional area for the cooling medium flow paths corresponding to the minimum cooling medium flow rate by giving a pressure loss in the cooling medium flow paths (S18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
