PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression packing machine which can pack a packing object with a packing tape in a compressed state. SOLUTION: The compression packing machine comprises a pressing body which compresses the packing object by pressing it and is arranged on the upper portion of a storage casing for storing the packing object so as to vertically move, and a slit which is formed on the side wall of the storage casing in order to lay the packing tape for packing the packing object along the outer periphery of the packing object from the outside of the storage casing, wherein the pressing body has a tape inserting portion formed so as to insert the packing tape thereinto at a position higher than a pressing portion for pressing the packing object.
