IN-HOME AUTOMATIC ALARM SYSTEM AND RELATED METHOD

An automatic notification system at home and a method thereof are provided to enable a home server to receive an event signal if an event such as an emergency is sensed, and then notify the event by sending an alarm message to an output device of a client electronic device which a user is using. An event sensing device(10) consists of an event sensor(11) for sensing an event occurring at home, and a signal transmitter(12) for transmitting a sensing signal in accordance with the event occurrence to a home server(20). The home server(20) comprises the followings. An external interface(21) receives the event sensing signal, and sends a notification message to an alarm output device. A sensing device identifier(25) identifies the sensing device(10). An alarm rule storage(26) stores an alarm message. A controller(24) searches the storage(26) according to the identified sensing device(10), and extracts/transmits alarm message contents of an image and voice corresponding to an event type. The alarm output device outputs the alarm message.
