<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal bellows accumulator including a metal bellows having one end fixedly secured in a shell and the other end connected to a bellows cap so as to section the interior of the shell into an outer gas chamber and an inner liquid chamber, wherein the metal bellows is prevented from being damaged by abnormal deformation even if a seal loses its sealing function so that pressurized fuel remained in the liquid chamber flows out. <P>SOLUTION: When the metal bellows 3 further contracts after the bellows cap 31 makes contact with an oil port 4 due to the pressure reduction of the liquid chamber 22, a surface contact 35 is formed, and a curvature radius of a U-shaped portion 3A of an outer-diameter side crest 32 is reduced so that the U-shaped portion 3A is deformed into a hairpin-shaped portion.
