PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a digital camera held vertically. SOLUTION: The digital camera 10 has a cross key 16, a determination key 17, a reproduction key 18, a menu button 19 and a monitor 15. A camera grip 30 has a release button, a cross key 36, a determination button 37, a reproduction button 38 and a menu button 39. When the cross key 16, the determination key 17, the reproduction key 18 and the menu button 19 of the digital camera 10 are operated, an image is displayed on the monitor 15 according to a normal display mode. When the cross key 36, the determination key 37, the reproduction key 38 and the menu button 39 of the camera grip 30 are operated, an image is displayed on the monitor 15 according to a portrait display mode.
