The transmission train (1) of a hybrid motor vehicle, with an internal combustion motor (2) and an electromotor (3), has a gearbox (4) with an unsynchronized clutch. On a gear shift, the target gear is synchronized by the electromotor with an open bridge clutch (12) as the electromotor accelerates the gearbox input shaft (11) to the required positive torque with the rotation direction of the motor crankshaft (9) to the synchronized rotary speed of the target gear. The process is reversed by retarding the torque on changing gear in the opposite direction.
