PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure exhaust control valve capable of being easily fitted in a middle part of an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: The exhaust control valve 10 is constructed by forming a shaft support hole 38 and a valve element insertion hole 70 at positions opposing in a radial direction one direction on a circumference wall of an exhaust pipe 12, and including a valve member 20 constructed with including a valve element 24 including a rotary shaft 22, inserted in the exhaust pipe 12 from the valve element insertion hole 70 and provided rotatably in the exhaust pipe 12 under a condition where the rotary shaft 22 extends in an axially perpendicular direction in which the shaft support hole 38 and the valve element insertion hole 70, cover members 56, 58 covering the valve element insertion hole 70, and rotary position setting retention members 42, 56, 114, 100 changeably positioning rotary positions of the rotary shaft 22.
