PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion aggregation toner capable of achieving expansion of a fixing region, improvement of image glossiness and improvement of developing performance after allowed to stand in a high temperature and high humidity environment. SOLUTION: The emulsion aggregation toner is obtained by sticking or fixing polymer fine particles (B) on particle aggregates comprising at least polymer fine particles (A), colorant fine particles and a wax, wherein a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component of the polymer fine particles (B) is larger than a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component of the polymer fine particles (A) by≥5.0%, the wax is an ester wax having a DSC peak temperature of 50.0-100.0°C and a tangent departure temperature of 45.0-95.0°C, and when a total peak area in a molecular weight distribution of the wax measured by GC is considered to be 100, the highest peak area is 50.0-99.0%.
