<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument with a tuning device in which frequency setting of a reference tone of a tuning object tone is easy and with which the pitch error of the tuning object tone and the reference tone can be directly informed to the player of the musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The frequency of the reference tone which is the reference when measuring the pitch error of the tuning object tone is specified by the key depression operation of a keyboard KB. The tuning object tone is picked up by a microphone 15.
