PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel pan-tilt-zoom device which can switch pan, tilt and focal distance. SOLUTION: The pan-tilt-zoom device comprises: a multi-focus lens 1; a focal distance adjustment means which is provided with a first mirror 2 facing the lens 1 side on the imaging side of the lens 1 and a second mirror 3 facing the first mirror 2 side between the first mirror 2 and the lens 1, successively reflects respective bundles of rays passing through lens regions 10, 11 having different focal distances between the first mirror 2 and the second mirror 3 and makes imaging surfaces of respective lens regions 10, 11 conform to each other on an imaging element 4; a focal distance selection means which shields or transmits the respective bundles of rays passing through the respective lens regions 10, 11 and, thereby, selects the bundle of ray imaged on the imaging element 4; and a pan-tilt mechanism which rocks the second mirror. That is, by adopting the multi-focus lens having lens regions of a plurality of focal distances and, moreover, selecting a necessary focal distance from among them, a zoom mechanism is provided and, by rocking the second mirror, a pan-tilt mechanism is provided.
