PURPOSE:To switch a visual field and to obtain an erect image in the eyepiece part side by twisting an image guide consisting of an optical fiber bundle at the visual field switching time between side sight and straight sight. CONSTITUTION:In case of side sight, a side sight image A is made incident as an inverted image by a prism 22 for side sight and is converted to the original erect image by a lens system 23 and is made incident on an image guide 34. Consequently, an erect image (a) is obtained on the side of an eyepiece part 36. In case of straight sight, a straight sight image A' is made incident on the image guide 34 as an inverted image by a lens 20 for straight sight, but the image is inverted on the way of the image guide because the image guide 34 is twisted at 180 deg. and consists of an optical fiber bundle. Consequently, the erect image (a) is obtained on the side of the eyepiece part 36.
