PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing motion assisting device capable of saving door closing motion operating force and dispensing with door closing motion operating force in a different direction to reduce impact in closing a door and to improve operability. SOLUTION: The closing motion assisting device 100 is provided with a casing 11 disposed at the door; an electric actuator 15 provided in the casing 11 and driven by signal input from the outside of the casing; and a lead-in latch 45 drawing a strike of a door frame by projecting in an arcuate moving locus from the casing 11 by operating force obtained by the drive of the electric actuator 15.
