PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-spindle auger device which is prevented from elastic deformation of a rod or wobbling of a joint portion, improved in excavation accuracy, and reduced in construction cost. SOLUTION: The multi-spindle auger device is formed of auger spindles each having auger heads at a front end thereof, and a rod 4a to 4c connected to an upper portion of the auger head, and functions to excavate the ground by rotating the auger spindles arranged in parallel with each other. Then each of the rods 4a to 4c of the multi-spindle device has a casing 5a to 5c arranged around the rod into which the rod is inserted. An external shape of a cross section of the casing 5a to 5c is formed like a non-circle, and the casings 5a to 5c adjacent to each other are arranged such that their rotational orbits (excavating radiuses R) partly overlap each other.
