PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrazole compound or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof having liver glycogen phosphorylase inhibitory activity, thus useful as an antidiabetic or diabetes-preventive agent. SOLUTION: The pyrazole compound is represented by the general formula(I)( wherein, ring Q means an aryl group or aromatic heterocyclic group; R1means H, a halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl or the like; R2means a halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl or the like; R3means a halogen atom, OH, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; and R4and R5each means H, a 1-6C alkyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl or the like ).
