Another embodiment of a retractable brace includes a telescoping portion including a first tube and a second tube, wherein the first tube includes a plurality of adjustment holes; a footplate coupled to a first end of the telescoping portion; and a bracket coupled to a second end of the telescoping portion, the bracket including wings.
