A display device and an apparatus for processing a sensing signal are provided to prevent an erroneous operation due to a leakage current by determining an operation state using a pressure detecting unit. An apparatus for processing a sensing signal includes first and second signal converters(811,821), first and second position signal output units(812,822), and a signal output unit(830). The first and second signal converters compare a first reference voltage with first and second detection data signals from plural first and second detectors, and output first and second detection output signals based on the first and second detectors, respectively. The first and second position signal output units output first and second position signals according to the first and second detection output signals from the first and second signal converters, respectively. The signal output unit outputs a digital detecting signal(DSN) in serial based on the first and second position signals from the first and second position signal output units.
