Provided are a polyurethane binder which can be dispersed in water and is environmentally friendly because of using no organic solvent, an electrode prepared by using the binder, and a lithium secondary using the electrode. A polyurethane binder is prepared by a polyurethane compound containing at least one double bond. Preferably the polyurethane binder is prepared by reacting a polyurethane compound obtained by reacting a polyol compound containing a polyol containing a double bond, a diisocyanate compound and a dispersant, followed by reacting with a neutralizer and a chain extender. Preferably the polyol containing a double bond has a weight average molecular weight of 200-10,000, and is a polybutadiene having a hydroxyl group at both ends. |
