<p>In the process air channel (2, 3, 4), a first pair of flow restriction valves (17, 18), reduce the velocity of the process air stream. The first valve is fitted after the drum (1). A moisture dispenser (19) is located in the process air channel, after the drum. The channel (2, 3, 4) and an open cooling channel (9), intersect for indirect heat exchange, at the condenser (5). A second blower (8) entrains room air into the second cooling channel (9); it then flows through the condenser before release. Further restriction valve(s) in the second cooling channel, reduce the cooling airflow velocity. These valves are located between the cooling air inlet (15) and the second blower, between the second blower and the condenser and/or between the condenser and the cooling air outlet (16). In operation, the controlled flow restriction valves are operated to set a process air temperature of at least 80[deg]C.</p> |
