PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric cell having a high adsorption quantity of spectral sensitization coloring matter, high reactivity to the spectral sensitization coloring matter, a smooth electron movement in a semiconductor and enhanced photoelectric conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: This photoelectric cell has an electrode layer 1 on its surface, and has a structure in which an insulating substrate having a metal oxide semiconductor film 2 adsorbing spectral sensitization coloring matter formed on the surface of the electrode layer 1 and an insulating substrate having an electrode layer 3 on its surface are disposed so that the electrode layers 1 and 3 are confronted each other, and in its electric cell formed by filling electrolyte between the metal oxide semiconductor layer 2 and the electrode layer 3, at least either one of the substrates and the electrodes has transparency and the metal oxide semiconductor film 2 contains anatase-type titanium oxide particles. |
