An apparatus and a method for indicating the location of a vehicle are provided to enhance user convenience by preventing mismatch between the real position and traffic information of the vehicle. An apparatus for indicating the location of a vehicle includes a position receiver(210), a position information controller(220), and an information display unit(240). The position receiver receives information on the real-time position of the vehicle through a wireless communication unit. The position information controller identifies departure and arrival of the vehicle in a station using the real-time position information. The information display unit displays the departure and arrival of the vehicle which is identified by the position information controller. |
