SPACE REQUIREMENT FOR STORAGE AND SHIPPING IS A MAJOR CONSIDERATION IN MANUFACTURING ACTIVITIES ESPECIALLY FOR PRODUCTS INTENDED TO BE MARKETED OVERSEAS. THIS IS DUE TO THE RISING COST OF PACKAGING, SHIPPING MATERIAL AND FREIGHT CHARGES. PREVIOUSLY MANUFACTURED FAN ASSEMBLY RESTRICTS SPACE MINIMIZING STEPS DUE TO THE CONFIGURATION AND DIMENSION OF THE BASE MEMBER. THEREFORE, THERE IS A NEED FOR A NEW FAN ASSEMBLY CONFIGURATION WHICH MINIMIZE STORAGE AND SHIPPING SPACE REQUIREMENT TO REDUCE STORAGE AND SHIPPING COST. THERE IS DISCLOSED A FAN ASSEMBLY HAVING A BASE MEMBER (1) CONSTRUCTED FROM A SEPARATE AND INDIVIDUAL PORTION THAT CAN BE DETACHED FOR STORING AND SHIPPING PURPOSE. THE BASE MEMBER (1) INCLUDES A GENERALLY PLANAR PORTION (2) AND AN UPWARDLY PROJECTING PORTION (3).IN USED, THE UPWARDLY PROJECTING PORTION (3) IS MOUNTED TO THE PLANAR MEMBER (2).FOR STORAGE OR SHIPPING PURPOSE, THE TWO PORTIONS ARE DETACHED, PUT INTO A PACKING BOX AND ARRANGED IN SUCH A WAY THAT ONLY A MINIMUM SPACE OF NECESSARY.(FIG. 2)
